DOES IT EVEN HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE?

So i don't even remember the last time i read a novel. I used to read a lot when i was in Senior High School but i quit reading romantic novels to concentrate on my books for SSSCE.<trust me, it was hard> Afterwards i found it pretty difficult to pick up a novel and actually finish reading. Recently i have started reading 'romantic novels' again and i suddenly realised, omg these books are soo tacky. Its like it follows a trend, does the pattern even change? a rich young and handsome man who is arrogant falls for a poor pretty girl or a rich arrogant girl... hmm does the story line ever change?<sigh> either their love is forbidden or a contractual marriage is arranged and they eventually fall in love. 

Formerly i would used 2 or 3days to finish a big bulky novel and when i put it down i realise that am missing something and that am supposed to meet someone somewhere or something! only to realise its actually the life of the book am living. someone is supposed to meet someone somewhere in the book! crazy huh? a girlfriend of mine who is also addicted to romantic novels back then had similar experiences and sometimes in class we would be talking about these novels like movies and people would ask us, what are u guys talking about? while others look on and think,"these girls are crazy".<eyes rolling> lolz

Currently am reading this book called the Virgin Brides by Lynne Graham. I am not even halfway through and i have already used close to 5 days.(moan). I wonder when am even going to finish.<wink wink> but i will... eventually. Gotta go finish my novel, would be back in a while. xoxo Lulu
